Welcome to SAGE Central. The homepage of the
Spectrum Adventure Game Enthusiasts Monthly Magazine
or
'OH NO! Not ANOTHER Spectrum Fanzine!'

Issue one is on it's way, If all goes to plan it's due to reach us in November, but while we're all waiting for it we
thought we'd launch the website in readiness. Please feel free to have a nosey around, granted were a bit of
an empty warehouse at the moment but trust me, things will change. Oh yes,
things will change....

The Interactive Fiction, or Text Adventure genre is an often overlooked stone in the foundation of the
legend that is the Sinclair ZX Spectrum.

Our monthly publication will celebrate this computer game genre with News,
Reviews, Features and Interviews. The magazine will be available monthly from this website and
consist of 32 information packed pages.

WHAT??? ONLY 32 PAGES????? well, it's not as small as it sounds, pick yourself up any
American style comic book and you'll be holding an identical copy of our magazine in length, breadth,
width and depth. Also we will be a Monthly publication. If the demand grows then the
magazine will grow, but 32 pages is a good place to start.

Regular sections of the magazine will include

Each month we will feature two in-depth articles focusing on Software houses, writers,
reviews or games themselves, usually linked in some way.

Just solid, total, complete solutions. In depth, tried and tested. Some hopefully exciting news to
follow regarding this section of the mag, but its too early to say anything just yet.

The twenty year shift - we will be taking a look back at the games released this very month twenty
years ago. the good, the bad and the downright ugly!

A COMPLETE adventure game. we will be featuring an adventure game in its entirety, from start
to finish. The locations, the solution. The graphics. Everything.

And of course there will be your usual News, editorial and letters pages. SO if you have something
to say, get emailing! It may even make it into issue one!!

We are an open publication slapped together by a number of losers with absolutely
no lives to speak of!

We are currently looking for another resident ( See issue one for more details ) but we have a totally
open community mentality - Anything you submit ( Even if it's in crayon ) Will be considered for the
magazine or the website. So get involved. Any thoughts, Ideas, requests... criticisms let us know
by email or on the upcoming forum. We're dying to hear from you, plus it would be nice to pad out
issue one's letters page a bit more!
