But only Slightly!
Issue one's release date has had to be put back to an
undesignated date. Sorry all, we did our best to meet the
4th of November but just couldn't do it. Issue one is ready
to roll, however we are still awaiting a yay or nay on a few
permissions connected to some reproduced artwork inside.
The Good news
is, We promised Issue One would be released in November, and
it Still will be. With or without the problem images.

Welcome to
SAGE Central. The homepage of the
Spectrum Adventure Game Enthusiasts Monthly Magazine
or
'OH NO! Not ANOTHER Spectrum
Fanzine!'
The Interactive Fiction, or Text
Adventure genre is an often overlooked stone in the foundation of
the
legend that is the Sinclair ZX Spectrum.
Our monthly publication will celebrate this computer game genre with
News,
Reviews, Features and Interviews. The magazine will be available
from this website and
consist of 32 information packed pages.
We will be a Monthly publication. If the
demand grows then the
magazine will grow, but 32 pages is a good place to start.

Issue one has been
put back, but the website has been uploaded. Oh well, it's a
start. |

Well it's
beginning to look like we won't make a Saturday release.
Fingers crossed, few more loose ends to chase. |

Issue One has been
resurrected by a smart arse who managed to extract all the
information off the dead hard drive. Miracles do happen. |

Catastrophe!
Whilst backing up SAGE issue one a Power cut stuck out SO14
resulting in a dead hard drive and a knackered DVD-R. Most
of Issue one has been vaporised. You know, you really don't
believe things like this happen until they happen to you. It
will now be a miracle if we keep to our original release
date, but, we've gone into overdrive and are determined to
release on time... Or die trying!
It's official now. We have
actually lost our two main features for issue one! They are
being re-written using bleeding fingers to meet the
deadline... Just hope they are as good as the originals. |

The Two week
countdown to the launch of SAGE has begun! To mark this
occasion we have updated the website, a sort of 'almost
there' step to the launch of the complete site, just to give
you an idea of what's to come.
We've even added a Wallpaper
for you to enjoy too. |

Finally, and a few
days late, the Website has been launched. Two days late in
fact, wow... that's not too bad I suppose. I mean, isn't it
traditional for Sinclair Spectrum related released to always
be late? Think it's a law or something.

Time to tell the
world we are coming! Posted an announcement on the
'World of Spectrum' forums just to let people know
what we're all about, when the website will go live, and
when the magazine will be available for purchase and
download. Getting positive feedback too, which is also nice. |
